Sweet and Sour Chicken

I tried a new recipe from Pinterest tonight and it was yummy!!! It was sweet and sour chicken that I baked in the oven so it wasn't fried. I also made some fried rice (I didn't fry it...boiled the rice, added peas and carrots and eggs and low sodium soy sauce). It made for a nice Monday night dinner! And it made enough so I can take some for lunch this week :)

I love my new presents!!

Aunt Lauren and Uncle Bryan got E some awesome presents for his birthday. Although they are Gator items...they are pretty darn cute and E loves them!!

Sick Baby!

E has been sick lately (not the cold and tired kind either...lol). He has been fine in between when he does get sick. He was playing today and then all of a sudden it got a little quiet (if you have a toddler then you know quiet=not good). We looked over and saw this.....

Soooo sweet!! He slept for about an hour :)

Inspiration

My brother in law Jon has been running and working out a lot lately. He has done really well! Well, he ran a 10k (we did the 5k) and has inspired me to try and do a 10k. Looking for one to do :)

Happy 1st Birthday Dillon!!

We went to Tallahassee to celebrate my nephew Dillon's 1st birthday!! He is such a sweet boy with a great personality. He likes to make a roar sound and it's so cute!! I love spending time with my sister and her family. Our boys are close in age and its nice to live close (only 2 hours away). Happy Birthday Dillon!!

Springtime Tallahassee

Today me and the hubs did ran in a 5k. We did good!!! I was able to talk during the run (normally I can't because I can't even talk...lol). I finished in 34 minutes (notes best time...but not bad since I didn't run all week due to a stomach bug). I got my mile down to 10:30!! It was a great run!!

Since we had all the boys together, we decided to do an egg hunt. Jack, who is 2, was the only one who understood and had a blast!! Dillon and Eddy didn't quite understand (E would grab an egg and chuck it into his basket..lol), but it was still fun!! Maybe next year :)

E had newborn photos done when he was a week old. Just so happens, he was tired from partying at his birthday and I was holding him. My brother in law, Jon, made a comment that it was the same position when I was holding him a year ago. So sweet!!

Happy Birthday E!!

Sorry it's been awhile!! Had a busy last week with E'a first birthday and then I got a yucky stomach bug (not good). We had his first birthday party March 30. It was awesome!! We had a lot of family and friends there! E had a great time!!!

On another note, we have a walker!!! He started Monday, the 25, with a few steps and then started off taking 8-9 steps. Growing up so fast!!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

E is 1 year old today!! I cannot believe it! This past year has flown by. He has brought such joy to our lives :)

Today, we had his 1 year checkup (23 and 1/2 pounds, 30.5 inches long). We then went to breakfast with Grandma and Grandpa Thomas. After that we went to the beach. E loved it!! It was a little chilly, but he didn't seem to mind. Can't wait for summertime!!
