Teething :/

So Eddy has been teething lately (molars..AHH!!!) He doesn't like to chew on cold wash clothes, Orajel is gross, and doesn't want Sophie the giraffe either. We were eating corn the other night and I let him chew on the cobb ( there was no corn...just the leftovers :)). He seemed to enjoy it!!

Finally!!

I bought my deep covered baker awhile back and have not used it. I messed up a Boston Butt and was running out of time. So I threw it in the DCB for 2 hours at 475 and voila.....it was done and delicious!! Can't wait to make lava cake (not so clean...but I love chocolate!!)

Best dressing ever!!

So, we have been trying to eat clean lately and I have been making our dressing. I use organic , dijon mustard, honey, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. I don't measure, just eyeball it. It is very yummy!!

Love Spaghetti

I made homemade spaghetti sauce and turkey meatball the other night. E loved it!! I found these curly pasta things that would make it easier for him to grab or use his little fork. He enjoyed himself!!

Watermelon!!

E loves watermelon and so do I!! We have been eating it a lot lately because its  so good right now!! Dad cuts it for us so we can enjoy it :)

Playroom

Since we never use the front room (before we called it the sitting room because we wanted to be fancy..lol), I have decided to convert it to a playroom for E. We have a mat and some storage shelves. I ordered some fabric bins and need to grab some more containers for books. We also need to get some art. E loves it so far!! This is my summer project :)

Mr. Thomas said my other projects are cleaning out my closet and the drawers :(

Forks are fun!!

So anytime Eddy has been eating lunch or dinner, he has been using a fork (we tried this a few weeks ago because he didn't want to eat and all of a sudden we let him use a fork and his appetite has triple..lol). He has gotten pretty good at it. Sometimes it takes him longer and when he can't do it, he'll grab it with his hands :)

As of food he likes, he will eat anything. His favorites, now, are watermelon, broccoli, banana bread, bananas, cheese, and turkey. 

Big Boy

E has a big boy carseat now!!! He is facing forward and he loves it! It even has a cup holder :)

Beach Babe

So we have been going to the beach a lot lately (we joked about it today...we have been to the beach more times in the last 2 months than we have been in the past 7 years we lived here). E loves it!! In between handfuls of sand and running from the water, he likes it. Lol. No really though, he does like it. He likes to sit in the shallow water and play in the sand. After we leave, he always passes out in his carseat!! Can always tell when beach day is a success.
