Burlap Wreath

So I decided to make my next wreath a burlap wreath. I got burlap (1 roll, I think the brand was Ashland, it's from Michaels). It was about maybe 6 inches wide. I got an iron wreath, wooden letters, 2 kinds of ribbon, and 2 spider accents. I already had black spray paint and a glue gun.

I did some research and this blog had the best tutorial on how to make a burlap wreath: Texas Cottage Blog. I finished that in like 10 minutes and you can fluff and pull to get it to look the way you want. I then spray painted the letters and let them dry.

Next was the bow...I am not the best at making bows, but I am pretty good at researching ways to make them. Lol. This site has the quickest and easiest way to make a bow. She also has tons of others arts and crafts and ideas and tutorials!! Check out her blog....it's pretty much amazing!! Sew Many Ways. The tails of my bow were long, so I cut them off and looped them, and glued them to the back of my bow.

Once the letters were dry and the bow was dry, I decided it was time to glue. The final product turned out pretty good. I'm pleased and cannot wait to make another one.

Please check out the 2 blogs I referenced. They are awesome blogs with lots of great ideas!!
