Heath Bar

This is my favorite holiday cookie, as well as my husband and everyone elses as well!! I got this recipe from my mom and it's the best!

Heath Bar

2 sticks butter ( I use unsalted)
1 cup sugar
Peanut butter chips
Chocolate chips
Saltine crackers

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Line saltine crackers on bottom. Boil butter and sugar until it thickens and pour over crackers. Bake for 7 minutes. Sprinkle peanut butter chips and chocolate chips over cookie mixture and let sit for a few minutes. Spread the chocolate and peanut butter chips evenly over crackers. Cool in freezer. Remove when hard (usually a few hours) and break apart.

Ingredients
Line the cookie with foil first, then saltine crackers.
Boil butter and sugar until thickened.
Pour butter mixture over the crackers, put in oven at 400 degrees for 7 minutes.
After 7 minutes in oven, pull out to place chips on.
Sprinkle peanut butter chips and chocolate chips, let sit for a few minutes to melt.
Spread evenly over cookies.

After you spread it, put in freezer for a few hours.

Break apart.
